I don’t think those are oars…they’re double ended kayak paddles…. and I’’d say the kid’s about to be up the creek without one.If I think of anything funny about paddles, I’ll come back with some oar.
Oars set in a cradle mounted to the side of a boat, and can be used with one hand, paddles are not attached, and must be used with two hands. What makes an oar an oar is not the number of paddles, but whether or not it attaches to the boat.
