Ex-Secretary of State Rice suggested different words, but Condy meant well.

Everyone is showering her with condiments…

she’s the toast of Las Vegas.

People relish her roll as a diva…

her label put on a comeback party…

and capped off the night with a huge spread in the hotel ballroom.

But I’m kind of in a pickle.

I’ve never thought her music was all that hot…

Don’t hate me but it’s a little too sweet for my taste….

and big Vegas productions always seem a bit cheesy, in spite of all the bread that goes into them.

I think I’d prefer the natural Celine… without all the accompaniments.

Still and all, that mildly spicy singer is a titanic success!

I don’t know why I think food items, especially, hot dogs make for such funny characters in comics but I just do. Great job on this one Dan Thompson!

EPCOT could have used her in the Kitchen Cabaret (before the space became the gate for Soarin’). Trying now to remember some of the performer names besides Pita Gabriel, singing about starches, and the Get the Point Sisters advising “Just a Little Bit” of fats and simple sugars. The fish was a takeoff on Cher, but I don’t think they specifically called her Char, and the pineapple or something promoting “Tutti Frutti” was simply “Richard.”
