A childhood friend of mine was obsessed with 18-wheelers as a kid. He had a huge collection of scale model trucks. He’d show them to me and explain in great detail everything I never wanted to know about them. He was a weird kid, but nice enough. He’s in his 50’s now and I just heard he’s transitioning. He says he’s always wanted to be a woman. Apparently while he was showing off his trucks he was wearing girls undies. His wife wants nothing to do with him but his daughters are trying to be supportive. Next time I see him he’ll try to explain in painful detail everything that led to his decision to tranny up. I’ll stop him, tell him you are who you are, and then ask him if he still has his truck collection. :)
During some construction there were truck trailers parked next to our VA hospital. Just to be absurd I commented about keeping patients in there. My wife replied, “Must be the semi-invalids.”
