History on PBS could be worse. It could be history on the History Channel. That is, nonexistent.

ITV have had problems, but their constant diet of soaps, “talent” shows, etc have done me in..Most other channels aren’t much better. Bring back the pure documentary (without re-enactments and presenters staring into the distance) and I might be tempted to re-visit.

A TV like this will not sell. All the shows that gave me pleasure were called stupid and trashy. After a long day in the office I want to be entertained.
