Don’t mess with Irritable Belle

Does anybody else notice that the comic seem to be updating an hour later?

I have heard that in the United States, roughly 12% of the population is African-American.I’ve never heard what their percentage is in Canada …

So you only care about “African American”? You don’t mention the proud Asian Americans, or Irish Americans, or any other American who may want to honor their family heritage? So it’s only Black people you have a problem with?

I guess, for some people, what Pam did is a wet dream. Oh, to be able to vaporize the politically-correct. Or anyone who disagrees with me, for that matter.

I am a mixture of all three races – white, black and Native American. About twenty years ago, I was working on a major repair job with a company representative, who was from Canada. When we first met, he stared at me and asked me, what I was. At first, I was about to detail my mixture, but then the idea suddenly hit me. I told him, “I like to think of myself as an all-American Blend.” Think about it. Unless you come from a highly inbred family, or your family just recently arrived in this country, nearly all of us can call ourselves all-American Blends.

It’s laughable when I’m harassed one minute, then told the next minute to stop having a sub-group identification. When all the bullies and xenophobes go away, then I’ll stop identifying with my sub-group, because then it won’t be necessary.

As for the race question on those forms, I always put down “human.”
