Those sunspots are cool!

That lucky old sun got nothin’ to do but roll around heaven all day.

He called for his pipe and he called for his bol.

The Sun is smiling because he is having a Corona.

Sun puns shunned.

Radiant.

Stephan Pastis would love it.

Brewster ain’t too bright. He doesn’t exactly radiate intelligence. His brain is in a constant total eclipse.

He’s a star!

Where is the frivolity in that?

I’m surprized Brewster has the vocabulary to make puns.

To be honest I didn’t think Brewster was clever enough to pun.

So it’s true: the sun really is a Teletubby!

Hate to burst everyone’s feel-good bubble about our “Smiling Sun,” but the truth is when the sun shows this much activity it can cause major problems on Earth. Severe geomagnetic storms can cause power outages by damaging the electrical grid. The last of these to heavily impact Earth was the 1859 Carrington Event, which sparked fires at multiple telegraph stations. A similar event in the 2020s could completely disrupt our technical society.

He was smiling because we usually pay attention to the other end of the solar system. For some reason, our astronomers are fascinated with Uranus.

Brewster may be a bit dim, but he does have a good pun sense.

Remember, a pun is the lowest form of humor if someone else thinks of it before you do.
