No wonder they never come true.

First star?

Venus is the first star one sees in the sky in the morning at this time of year. It’s also the first star in the evening in Springtime.

If you were actually doing “Star light, star bright” thing for real/correctly, it would be at the time when stars are just becoming visible with the setting of the sun. There should be (virtually) no other stars are visible in the sky – unlike what is shown here.

Well at least it ain’t Uranus the first that we is see in night.

A cease and desist letter. That’s rather harsh.

The Grinch is a Venusian?

Stars twinkle, planets don’t

Eh, planets are “wandering stars.” And, wow, that’s really touchy! It’s a WISH, Venus dude, not a demand!

In fact, the most technologically advanced invention on Venus is the trash can; and that’s just so they’ll have something to tip over.

Venus is rising at about 3:00 a.m. now where I live. One more day and it will be doing a “Turkish flag” conjunction with the crescent moon.

I wish Venus would send me a “Cease and Desist…”

The Venus guy is totally wrong. It should be a woman. After all, women are from Venus.

They wish they had their wish, they don’t demand or expect to get their wish…

In Roman mythology, Venus is the goddess of love, beauty, sex, fertility, and victory. Wonder what the lawyers from Venus think about that??? You say the Lawyers are from Mars and the Clients are from Venus? I’m so confused.

And Pluto is suffering an identity crisis

I wish, I wish … that Venus wasn’t so touchy about it.

Who or what signed the cease and desist?

Venus sure has an attitude. I guess it’s true, women come from Venus.

They didn’t planet that way.

How can anyone tell which celestial body she had in mind?

I never quite understood how we can see planets that are closer to the Sun.

I guess “Shocking Blue” (and Bananarama, in their cover) lacked the proper notary when they sang: “Well, I’m your Venus, I’m your fire, at your desire…”

The fact that distinct entities “the Morning Star” and “the Evening Star” are the same celestial object has been the subject of philosophical debate for a long time. The Greeks called Castor and Polydeuces “the Dioscuroi” or Heavenly youths, or “Zeus’s boys” (not to be confused with Zeus’s boy Ganymede, different relationship altogether). (In both Greek and Latin, Zeus and Juppiter (Jove) respectively mean both the god and the day sky.) In Vedic, the stars are the “Aśvināu”, the two horsemen. Of course, they were never seen together, for some reason.

So that life form is adapted to the crushing atmospheric pressure, extreme heat and CO2/Sulfuric acid atmosphere?

Very high air pressure, little to no oxygen, surface temp over 800 deg. F. That alien is probably just pretending to be from Venus.
