She may POP you, if she gets her hands on you, Irwin. And you’ll be seeing rather than saying stars!

It’s amazing all the same that she can run around in that condition. I’d just let loose with a ZAP.

Does that make her something of an air-head?

It’s just temporary relief. Once she’s dispensed with Nerwin, the effects will resume.

But Joe Allen Doty, what does “USMC” mean? You haven’t educated us on THAT point yet.

@fritzoid it stands for United States Marine Corps. (as in “Gomer Pyle USMC”)

Not so fast, “Y”s-guy. You think I’m going to take YOUR word for it? I’ll wait to hear what Joe Allen Doty has to say about it.

You missed a J.A.D. comment on Wizard of Id.

Dazed. Loud noise. A chase scene. Who can pack more action in one strip than Mr. Myers? I love this!

BC13, I missed that one because I generally read Wizard of Id over on Comics.com. It’s up to his usual standards of mockworthiness, but at this point I’d feel it would be cheating. I don’t want to CHASE him, I only take him where I find him.

He left a comment on Cul de Sac which I let slide because it wasn’t TOO redundant and/or irrelevant, and his “Never strike a happy medium” line over at Shoe was actually kinda cute.

I saw the one on Shoe and it was in keeping with the other amusing comments. I don’t read Cul de Sac so I would have missed that one anyway.

I only read on other sites what I can’t find here. Comics.com has Peanuts, Marmaduke plus colorized versions of the Wiz, BC and Red and Rover that I may refer back to if anyone comments on how the color might better illustrate the strip.

You should check out Cul de Sac. It’s marvelous. If it doesn’t strike your fancy immediately, give it some time to let it grow on you.

For the most part, anything that’s on both Comics.com and GoComics I read here, since Comics.com is often slow to navigate and I don’t care for the “comments” format. I hadn’t even noticed that Wizard of Id is here, but now that I know…

(By the way, have you noticed that somebody’s now posting under the name BC14? You’ve been made obsolete!)

I get Ben, Dilbert, and Zits from some URL that I would have trouble tracking down again - I just bookmarked them. Also Funky Winkerbean and xkcd. Then, on The Seattle Times, I get Between Friends, Bloom County, Luann, and Peanuts.

Everything else I get here, at gocomics (I don’t know if I can get the other ones here, at gocomics): The Academic Waltz Adam@Home Bloom County (it’s actually a different version) Cathy Pibgorn Calvin & Hobbes For Better or For Worse Broom Hilda Doonesbury Haiku Ewe Stone Soup Heathcliff

I tried out Luann because another commenter had suggested it. But I actually found Haiku Ewe all by myself when I moved the pointer past the icon, and noticed that the little purple lamb was so cute, and I certainly didn’t think the author really knew what a haiku was. I found out that she did, and the strip was even cuter than I expected, and so was the story - so I stayed.

Some of these strips I love passionately, others - well, enough to look at them daily. It literally makes my day to read them - and the accompanying comment.

    I’ll check it out.

As for bc14, I only recall seeing one post on yesterday’s BC strip. It seems he feels the same way about BC as I do about Adam. For the time being at least, BC hasn’t fallen from my list, but if they start printing more strips of questionable taste, it could fall off my list. At least the readers had the opportunity to voice their opinions on said questionable strip and it won’t be happening any time soon - I hope.

Personally, I think Hart and Basset should have done what Schultz and Waterson did - just walk away and let people remember the strips for what they were.
