And the alternative is……?
Gosh! Which Wise Man are we talking about, Broomie? BTW, you sure are being awfully nice to Nerwin the last couple of days…..
Closest I can come is not growing up!!
I don’t know about you folks, but I plan to live for ever. So far, so good.
Yukoner, did you see my reply to you in Andy Capp a few days ago? Just wondering. :)
Actually, Yukoner, so do I, just not in this first edition.
I’ve been taking Nerwins advice and so far it has been quite successful
I intended to live forever once, but as I got older I could see the flaw in the plan. Now I plan to be reborn. Earth is still too good to leave forever.
Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
If I’m old, how come I still have hair on the sides of my head?
Old is a state of body, youth is a state of mind. The spirit of gratitude & wonder never gets old.
That hair on the sides of your head is in yiur ears.
Aging’s only benefit is retirement. Best job ever.
I have just as much hair as I did when I was younger, just in different places.
can I just be twenty five for the next fifty years?
is that too much to ask?
Man to new neighbour: “Have you lived here your whole life?” Elderly neighbour: “Not yet…”
Joe Allen, love that “one doesn’t have to do anything to get old, old just happens.” Sad but true!
but is he as yyy as me?
probably wiser!
The problem with immortality is the more time you have to do things, the less time you have to do things.
