Don’t strain your brain Nerwin.
It always makes sense while in your head.
… thinking about it … his math is accurate!!
I love it when Nerwin demonstrates the paradox of infinite regression.
Kids… What they can accomplish when they think they’re getting away with something.
Something just doesn’t add up, Nerwin.
The new math?
Some questions lend themselves to T/F format, but the writer has to be extremely careful with the wording, I taught math for more than 30 years.
Believe it or not, I have had a multiple choice math test.
I suppose I should have said multiple guess, because that’s what it was for me & trig – a crap shoot.
People who talk about giving 110% are the ones who need to go back to school and re-take arithmetic.
Oh, you can always make T/F questions about anything. For example:
There is no such thing as the square root of a negative number – it just doesn’t exist.
If you multiply together two numbers, both of which are less than zero, then the result will be greater than zero.
You cannot divide by zero.
NB: If you didn’t study the math that these questions refer to, you can hardly be expected to know the answers. If you do – good for you!
I don’t think I ever did, but it’s quite possible to create one, once you get past arithmetic: “True, or false? There are as many odd integers as there are integers?” “True or false? The three angles of a triangle add up to 145 degrees?”
