Before the farmers simply drug thecarcasses out in the middle of a field and let thevultures go to work. The government said letting thevulture eat the remains was a health hazard.So now the birds are in dire straits finding food andnow they are killing new born farm animals so theycan survive. It’s just a case of a government messingwith Mother Nature.The French government is nowpaying the farmers compensation for every animalkilled by the vultures. I guess then if a vulture inFrance is starving it won’t wait for a dead animalto rot a few days.
