Don’t ever give your doggy chocolate. It will make them seriously ill and maybe kill them.
There is one exception to this. If your doggy’s time has finally come, and he is going to the vet for the last time, then, just before the vet gives your doggy the tranquilizing shot to relax him before the final shot, give your doggy a chocolate Hershey’s Kiss. He’s going to travel over the Rainbow bridge shortly, and no doggy should exit this life without the taste of sweet chocolate at least once.
So we agree it’s not a good idea to offer chocolate to dogs. I did have a client in my job who fed chunks of large Hershey bars to chihuahuas with no apparent ill effects (I tried to get them to discontinue the habit), I doubt Jill is a dog. That was my point. His wife? He turned his food away from his wife?

A concerted attack by the good guys (Jill and Buckles) on the enemy (Paul) is called for here! Share or die!

Paul really isn’t very nice. Turning down his dog for chocolate cake is reasonable, but turning down sharing with his wife? That’s rude.

I know that this is a comic strip, but….
