Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for January 23, 1995
Transcript:
Calvin: Look at my new invention, dad! I unraveled a hanger and poked it out the back of my pants to make a tailhook! Now, with a rope stretched across the doorway, I can blast into a room at top speed, and the hook will grab the rope and stop me before I crash out the window on the opposite wall! Well?? Don't just sit there, man! Get out some patent applications! I wonder how many fortunes he's let slip through his fingers.
