No, the human imagination can’t maintain an additional critical personality when being honest and frank with itself.

That’s why we can’t see our imaginary friends any more.

Hobbes tricked Calvin into this bout of soul-searching so he can finish off the food supplies before Calvin realizes it.

When Calvin discovers that he’s made a mistake, he really doesn’t need Hobbes rubbing it in his face, it’s probably just as well he’s not there :-/

Marg and Frida Your icons are awesome but both of your icons are too difficult to look closer at your icons. I used my magnify closer to your icons. Marg’s looked like the lady with holding the turkey place? Frida’s looked like a schoolteacher with holding the pencil? Am I right or wrong? :-)

Mine is a lady holding a Thanksgiving turkey. It’s a very old greeting card that says ‘Thanksgiving Wishes’. Frida’s is a picture of Frida Kahlo, who was a Mexican artist.

Perhaps Hobbes is a real tiger, who found some dolls, and is imagining he’s in the human world.
