rain, storm, hail….

If Calvin keeps that up, it will rain on his parade…a severe storm is brewing.

I can so relate to Calvin. Must be why I like this strip. I hope mom didn’t just get her hir done.

I love it when Calvin (last frame) is cleverly working something out and sticks his toung out to the side - In the first frame - I see why - Its genetics! Mom does it too!

You are absolutely correct in that statement, but the reprocussion comes right back to what happens to the 6yr old afterwards. lol

Maybe the cold water will help cool down his back side after the storm hits.

I’m not seeing this end well for Calvin.

I think Mom might get shocked at first, but will take it in stride. Looks like a HOT day out, and she might relish the cool water. LOL! Have to wait and see .. in a subsequent strip.

Calvin you can not out run a mom

The comic-watchers have some ingenious ideas, don’t they? I see lots of strips spring from them.

Ah yes, the power of running water. For me it was sticking the garden hose in one of the neighbours basement window vent holes. I don’t remember doing it but my mom never let me forget it.

Better than having a water fight with Hobbes against Susie. That time, Susie acquired Hobbes’ water bombs and turned them against their maker.

On the other hand, wet dries after a little while. What Mom is likely to do will be felt a bit longer…

You don’t tell a 6-year old to just go away. Maybe Calvin would like to dig in the dirt. Of course the garden would be a mess then.
