This is going to be a bad vacation for Calvin.

He’s probably watching all the reruns of Tony the Tiger commercials…..

Probably lonely,….see him tomorrow.. probably Susi will come and visit him……….

Reading all of your comics, eating all of your goodies and playing with your toys, Calvin!

In *my* opinion CnH is the best comic strip.

Since Hobbes is a good friend of Calvin, he will ensure that he rents all of Calvin’s wish list movies, watches them all and tells Calvin all about them upon his return ;).

Hobbes now has the opportunity to watch French movies with adult thoughts and innuendos that Calvin would use to see if a car can crush ‘em.

I got a feeling Calvin’s comic books are gonna smell like tuna fish….

Mom sure can imagine what its like without Calvin eh!!!

Calvin, your mother and I sent Hobbes to live on a farm.

Calvin now wish that he was left home with Hobbes,since he’s having a good time.

Good morning to all! Hobbes won’t answer anyway cause he’s doing what you all said… reading Calvin’s comics, eating tuna sandwiches, etc. And I agree with Moronbis!

I predict a phone-use charge when they go to check-out (yes I have stayed in a motel before).

There is no comic strip ever in my opinion that could even come close to Calvin. He makes me laugh, cry, and just feel so good sometimes. Why, did this man stop writing this comic strip I will never understand. Such a great talent.

I love the juxtaposition of the six year old body and attitude with the adult vocabulary and actions.

Leaving a tiger Home Alone is Risky Business, right now he’s probably dancing around the living room in his underwear. Wait, do tigers even wear underwear?

I’d expect that they’ll find every can of tuna gone when they return.

Even if Hobbes is your best friend, he might be doing some of the things you would do if you were home alone . You left without saying good bye or giving instructions on what not to do ?

What if the Tiger gets on the phone and invites a bunch of his friends over for a party?? Look out…

Uh, if this is the arc I think it is, it won’t be tuna, pristine comics or underwear that this family will find gone…

It’s a telling comment on my memory that I remember reading this years ago…and can’t for the life of me recall what happens next!

It probably isn’t Hobbes that is lonely – it probably is Calvin who is with his totallly non-empathetic parents.

I bet he’s wearing sunglasses, shorts, and socks, while playing Old Time Rock & Roll.
