“For this patient I am going to need more tongue depressors” (or tongue suppressors?) - Watterson’s wit & artistic skill are always tops !!!

Thank you, Marg. I’ve been working on expanding the size of my smile. The camera captured one of my better ones today.

<< HobbesIsSoCute said: http://www.calvin.edu/ … Their motto is “Calvin : Minds in the Making”. Take away the “:” and what do you get? >>

Hmmm…… Take away the colon and what do you get?…..………… I dunno……. intestinal distress?

<< Rachel7 said: Hey Hobbes, when Calvin is at school, do you try to sneak over to the t.v to watch tigresses in swimsuits? >>

No, Calvin’s parents refuse to sign up for Cable, even though Calvin keeps asking. So I only see the occasional nature documentary. I never get to watch that popular tiger show, “Bengal Baywatch Bikini Babes.”

**Good morning Marg! Good morning Fran and Kizzzy! Good Morning L’Wolf! Good Morning Grog!**

I love these adults scenes between Calvin and Susie. I think there are four or five total but he could have filled a book with them and I would have still wanted more.

I wonder if Watterson ever drew it out where these two actually did grow up and get married, and Hobbes was given to their daughter or son?

I don’t think the sordid story of the sudden suffering of both is Sunday fare…but it’s fun to think about.

Reminiscent of “Rex Morgan MD”, which in its own way was just as ridiculous. Priceless.

Doctor looks like Alan Kalter, David Letterman’s announcer.

the hair colors should have given it away, but I didn’t catch on till the last 2 panels. Very funny! A good one. Others, not Watterson, have pictured the grown up Calvin and Susie. I can’t give you a link because I’m not that that much of a geek. ha-ha!

Today’s comic really cracks me up … right along with our own little Hobbes right here on the the GoComics forum. His comments are quite pithy!

Calvin’s fantasy world is always so much more intense and artistic than his ordinary world. It’s the modern day version of Little Nemo. If only he had Hobbes with him back then.

I loved this comic when it first came out–it was, as I recall, near “Rex Morgan MD”, and for the first few panels I wondered if it was a mistake. Until I got to the middle row of panels. “My foot hurts.” “Lobotomy” “Anesthesia”

    ROFL!

I’m still waiting for that warning from the Surgeon General.
