ZZTop is cool…walking into walls is not. Writing poetry is cool ( tip of the hat to Puddleglum2) …hot weather is not. Commenting on this strip is cool….trying to operate a keyboard wearing sunglasses is NOT! (Especially for those of us who have to look at the keyboard to type!)

Hello Mike Firesmith. Hope you get a break from the heat soon. It has finally reached central Florida. I keep the dog and cat in, but should I bring the squirrels in too? Maybe I should at least give the squirrels sunglasses so they look cool?

So thats what their for.

I am pretty hopeless without my glasses. I have a pair of prescription sunglasses that I wear when driving in the daytime. My regular prescription glasses are also in the car. Do you think I remember to swap them every time I get out of the car and go indoors?

They become shades of immortality if you’re wearing them while driving at night and get killed….

Calvin & Hobbes look like a couple’a rejects from “The Blues Brothers” … “It’s 106 miles to Chicago. We’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark, and we’re wearing sunglasses. – Hit it” Maybe they’re on a mission from God!

I admit Hobbs is looking cooler already!

Since I’m not a cold-weather fan despite living in a state that gets snow every year, I’ll take this weather over that weather any day!

That is cold, cruel, and unfortunately true. I got blasted for saying “sister” in Broomie’s strip today. Maybe I’ll have “Mom” inked on an intimate spot.

good idea on bieng cool!

Out west here the ultimate cool is to park your sunglasses on top of your head, which, of course, is a complete waste, but mebbe that’s the point….
