In 2003, Roy HORN (of Seigfried & Roy) did suffer a career ending injury from his white tiger, Mantecore.

An accident occured during a performance at The Mirage in Las Vegas. Roy’s partner (Seigfried) stated later that Mantecore was attempting to aid Roy when Roy stumbled and fell during the act. Had Mantecore wanted to injure Roy he would have snapped his neck and shaken him violently. Instead Mantecore attempted to pull Roy gently to safety.

Mantecore survived and continued to perform until 2009, when he was retired.

In response from yesterday regarding my avatar-changing problem:

Grog: Yes, I’ve tried deleting not only my browsing history but also my cookies (just in case something there was hanging things up) . . . that didn’t help.

Hobbes (the poster): I can’t change anything in my profile because I don’t have anything filled out. I tried changing my name to something funny for Halloween (like “GretchensMummy”, for instance) but when I did, it made all the posted comments disappear; it also removed the ability to post a comment too. I had about 3 images I saved to my computer to use for the month of November leading up to Thanksgiving — all were the correct size (under 2 mb) and format (they were either JPEG or GIF). At this point, I don’t know what else to do. I can’t change my avatar to another picture nor can I figure how to make this one go away and just change it back to the shadowy “anonymous” figure like it was before. I haven’t got a clue as to what I may be doing wrong. I only know I want my Halloween avatar gone and am stumped and frustrated as to why I can’t figure out how to do something as simple as that is! Any other help/suggestions you or someone else can provide that I can try would be greatly appreciated! (P.S.: I haven’t tried contacting Go Comics yet because I’m not sure they can advise me to do anything differently beyond what I’ve already tried but I haven’t ruled out contacting them if I can’t figure this out either on my own or with the help of someone like you.)

When I have a cat in my lap and it yawns I love to put my finger in it’s mouth. They always act startled and then give me a dirty look. Fortunately they have never been mean and bit down hard.
