Spring cleaning = more laundry.

I need to clean and oil my chain, “rotate” my tires, and adjust my brakes. I’ll wait for the pollen to wane a bit before I clean it.

WTF is he wearing? A tablecloth???

at least it is a bike, and not a car restoration. restoring a 1968 ford mustang fastback will consume all your time and energy for the next 5 years.

Wow. This is the first time I didn’t see Calvin, I think.

In the third panel, Hobbes sneaks in and fixes the bike and Calvin takes the credit. Hobbes is not pleased.

If he had a Harley, he’d be changing the oil and plugs and getten’er ready for that first road trip of the year…how come Mom doesn’t want to ride on her own bike with him – too much fun being in the house with Calvin, right?

Beats walking.

Surely when dad said it was time for spring cleaning, mom didn’t actually think he meant housework of some kind without her nagging — excuse me, asking — him to do it . . . did she?!? Because if she did, she just set herself up for a MAJOR disappointment!

Meanwhile, I’m missing our favorite little spiky-haired scamp and his b.f.f. today! He’s probably still in his room working on that exact same poem he was working on and having trouble with yesterday!!!!! ;-)
