Way too many other strips to choose from today.Today’s Calvin and Hobbes is from January, 1995.Here’s Peanuts, 30 years earlier:Click here (or stretch image): Peanuts (January 24, 1965)Here’s Peanuts, two years after today’s Calvin and Hobbes, near the end of Charles Schulz’s career. Perhaps Lucy was inspired by Bill Watterson’s Susie in this one:Click here: Peanuts (January 19, 1997)Here’s B.C., sixteen years after today’s Calvin and Hobbes. This one is drawn by Mason Mastroianni, four years after Johnny Hart’s death. Mason is Johnny’s grandson.Click here: B.C. (January 8, 2011)Finally, here is a very early Calvin and Hobbes, from about nine years before today’s strip. This was Bill Watterson’s fifth Sunday strip. Notice that both Calvin and Hobbes look younger. This was before they “matured.”Click here: Calvin and Hobbes (December 22, 1985)
Hi Snoopy_Fan. Those are two of my favorites, also. It’s hard for modern readers to realize how clever and unique Charles Schulz was with Snoopy doing things on his doghouse, clear back in 1961.
Hi rgcviper. Since we will come to the end of Calvin and Hobbes at the end of this year, I assume they will start over in 2016. But since the original began in the month of November, maybe they will wait until November 2016 to restart it. Don’t know how they will handle that. Hope they don’t cut off the final 2 months this year to start over from the beginning.

Who threw the snowballs at Calvin, Moe or Susie?
Wasbluskies almost 10 years ago
I’m thinking neither; more like the certain stripey character strolling nonchalantly (and armed) up to Calvin’s snow fort.

Also, now that “Peanuts” and “Big Nate” have restarted from the beginning here on GoComics, I’d LOVE to see something similar for “Calvin & Hobbes” …
