Thank you for your gracious reply. When you say you don’t like corn on the cob, it brings to mind an exchange student we had from Spain back in the mid 90’s. Although she had corn occasionally in her native country, it was never “on the cob”! When we first served it, there was an initial bit of confusion; however, once we instructed her on how to eat it, she couldn’t get enough!

Her younger sister visited with us at the cabin (she is teaching middle school students in Sioux City, Iowa) a week ago, and guess what she wanted to eat?
