Hobbes is an inconsiderate bedmate.

Watterson’s silent strips are some of the best.

Yeah, Dad, blame my pet tiger.

Watterson’s skill at drawing Calvin’s expressions is so masterful, I feel sometimes I’m really observing an irascible little boy. I love quite a few cartoonist’s work, but Bill Watterson is the master of them all.

Dad must seek now a new sleeping place!!

Is nobody there today?

I don’t have to reset my clocks at all — Daylight Saving Time doesn’t exist here in Arizona!

It is a stuffed tiger. Calvin could just imagine Hobbes NOT snoring and NOT hogging the blanket.

And where’s the fun in that?

One good turn deserves another.

Reminds me of hubby and I fighting over covers when cold I burro like a cocoon.

Getting back to the subject at hand…I am usually the last to get into bed, and often my wife has snatched most of the covers! The other night I tried to tug the covers away, and being unsuccessful, I slid over closer to try to get some blanket.

As I snuggled up a bit, I heard a muffled “No, not tonight!”

I said quietly, “You have all the covers and I’m just trying to get some blanket!”

Well, you all believe me, don’t you…

Hobbes has fur. So I don’t see why he needs all of the covers.

I have very few clocks that need resetting. Most are automatic, thank goodness.

Lucky you ! What a pain.

It takes an hour to set our grandfather clock back. You stop the pendulum for one hour and start it swinging again when the time is correct…

Where’s Dad gonna go for blankets? He looks like he’s out of luck.
