That family doesn’t have good luck with bicycles! Dad should have heeded Calvin’s warnings!

My city is full of motorised adult trikes these days; they take over the pavements and swear at pedestrians for blocking their path.

I think Dad is reconsidering Calvin’s (maybe not so) crazy story of his killer bicycle!

It was hard to get something political out of this, but someone always manages.

Ok, the troll drew me in, my apologies. This is the first time I have ever heard of Obama described as a weakling. I have heard him described as a lot of things, some fit, most do not. But a weakling? I don’t think so. Leopold needs to take it down a noch (sic)

And to attain to such as a black man in a white man’s world, takes a LOT of strength.

the idea is to avoid hitting the rocks – that’s why they made bikes agile

It’s pathetic to try to draw politics into a comic strip that has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of political strips. Why not go play there? As for the concept of motorized tricycles, some super-economy “cars” are motorized trikes with a roof. They are are because if they have only three wheels, they technically aren’t a a “car”, and thus are exempt from a lot of safety and pollution regulations. For example, a “car” like the 1970’s Sebring-Vanguard Citicar would not be legal to sell today with four wheels, but probably could be sold in a 3-wheeled version.

“We try to keep C&H a politics free zone”*LWP – Everything is political! This strip’s issues are about clean transportation, vehicular safety, climate change, destabilized boomers, etc.*But I DO think we can keep it free of insults.

LX013 GoComics PRO Member said, about 14 hours ago@neverenoughgoldWhat is “snerk” I cannot find it in my dictionairy!!

Well, in my “airy” urban book of diction, it is referred to as follows:

    snerk

Verb or Noun: Small sound that is emitted through the nose and mouth, usually a compressed laugh or snort. Often accompanied with a small grin, smirk, or sneer. Usually a tone of either derision, (as when someone says something you find stupid) or innocent humor. (When someone tells you a funny joke and you are busy doing something else, so a full-fledged laugh is difficult.)Nice to use behind other’s backs, as when they do something inanely stupid and you can’t help but laugh about it, but don’t want to fall over laughing.
