Sorry, but a quick wit and originality don’t count when it comes to providing factual information such as this. In other words, as Joe Friday used to say, Miss Wormwood wants Calvin to give her “just the facts” and nothing more.

A STRANGE answer but it does have a certain CHARM to it.I’d give a TOP grade for originality but I fear that it will place him at the BOTTOM of the class.Remember Calvin it’s UP to your teacher, I hope you’re DOWN with that.

Hobbes is usually smarter than that.

In math and computer science, a pronoun is a variable, a name that can refer to different objects at different times, as in the phrase “you and you and you”, where the times are particularly close together.

I once helped out a friend who had been told by an idiotic teacher that a variable is a number that changes its value, the most arrant nonsense I have ever heard of in math. She couldn’t do algebra for decades after that, until I gave her the correct explanation.

I don’t know about that Calvin, my teachers never displayed or gave much credit for my originality or uniqueness. At least that’s the way I remember it!

Thank goodness today I left the coffee mug on the end table…

I have never understood why referring to women as “she” is considered rude.

Creative answer indeed. Reminds me of a companion of mine at school. He said that in order to memorize the infinite symbol, just imagine a fainted eight. Good times those were.
