Whatever happened to the good, old days when the only place you would put a tiger was in your tank?

Come on Calvin, Dad is giving Hobbes a very important job – protecting the car while we are away.

Maybe Dad is afraid Hobbes would change the stations to Christian Rock (aka Puddy).

See, the difference between liberals and conservatives?Conservatives say it’s all right to invade someones personal space, prank them to scare them, not knowing if the person is elderly, infirm, or could have an epileptic fit or heart attack because of the conservatives “fun”.Then bash the liberals for pointing out that that behavior is wrong, and possibly harmful to another person. But hey, conservatives gotta have their anti-social behavior “fun”.

I hope dad considers Hobbes demand. I know what is like to be locked in a car with no music.

Interesting . . . the “stuffed toy” version of Hobbes here is as big as Calvin. Later, the toy was much smaller.

I was taught that you don’t mess with other peoples property, Period. It’s true that you shouldn’t leave your car unlocked when you leave it however someone messing with your car even though it’s basically harmless is wrong and there’s no way to sugar coat it and justify it. If my child did that and I found out it would have warranted a severe punishment.

Yes, Hobbes mustn’t miss his show called “How To Deal With Irritating Little Boy Owners”

Well can you think of a better title?

@leading edge. @never enough goldLoved your pranks,of course I can’t condone that sort of thing now that I’ve reached my geezerhood ,but we all had our day right? Here’s my worst prank; When I was 13 or 14 my friend and I made a life size dummy of my brother, complete with cloths,Boots, and an old mop for hair!(this was the 60’s you know"We tied a 50 foot rope around the neck and a rock on the other end and proceeded to throw the rock over the high tension lines of the hydro poles on our back lane. Then we started pulling on the rope, our intention to hang my brotherIn effigy! we got him about half way up when the lines arcedAnd blew up! The entire neiborhood was blacked out, live wires were dancing on the lane, and every kid within 6 blocks showed up in minutes! We quickly gathered up the evidence,Stashed it under a tree and hid in my bedroom peeking out the window.Fire trucks arrived shortly followed by hydro crews, but it was a few hours before all was back to normal. My father knew what was up, but he left it up to us to lay low or confess. We layer low of course, and got away with it.My brother got the biggest laugh watching us cowering by the window.By the way I don’t recommend trying this at home kids, we were lucky not to get electrocuted!
