If there was a produce truck, Calvin would be immediately taken. The bigger the better.

I never could figure out hoe Hobbes gets back to the house after the bus comes and goes. ????

Outside of TV and comics, do kids ever really have to go to school in a play costume. Wouldn’t they leave the costume at school, (eliminating the chance of forgetting to bring it on play day) and change before the show? Or would that be missed gag opportunities?

Back when kids would READ the comics or even the sports section (panel 3).

LOL, one of my favorite strips today. What we don’t get to see is Calvin trying to run as fast as he can in that onion suit. Which must also be pretty hilarious.

If you grab a copy of Something Under the Bed is Drooling, flip to this strip and you’ll see in the last panel Hobbes has “angry eyebrows.”

As a Kid I might have participated in such an “Education Program”, but what I didn’t do was wear the “Costume” anywhere but in the “Educational Program”. In other words I sure didn’t wear the stupid thing on the school bus!

I’m guessing the family won’t be having liver and onions for dinner tonight…

In panel three it appears Hobbes’ tail is a bit frayed…

I wonder what Susie’s costume is like if she’s dressed like “Fat”?
