Unlike you, Dad, bugs have enough sense to get out of the rain.

And to think Calvin was excited about the trip before going.

Sometimes you don’t know what to say and you say the wrong thing…

But think of all the character this is building.

But DO NOT BE THERE THE DAY AFTER IT STOPS RAINING. There will be mosquitoes and other bitey, hungry things like you read about.

I think I said it before – this was always one of my more favorite story arcs. LOL

It’s not so bad Calvin. There’s only another 33 days to go.

Dad reaches, yet fails to grasp. I wonder how much fishing they can really do, given the amount of time they must need to spend bailing.

where are they camping at, India during the monsoon?

Nothing brings the mosquitoes and biting gnats out more than rain, though!

On this vacation Mom was the smart one and booked a room at a local motel!

Well Dad, we can look at the canoe as half empty or half full.

Who is bailing water out of the canoe?

Dad’s on vacation from the office. Calvin is on “vacation” from the TV….

Where is Hobbes? I bet he is snuggled up nice and cosy in the tent.
