Funny how Dad never threatened to replace Calvin

I notice that Calvin’s dad showed approval of Calvin’s poll when it appeared to be in his favour.

I’m guessing Calvin will suggest the Yukon for Dad’s destination.

Anyone wonder why Calvin never does these negative poles with his Mom. Does it have anything to do with she is the one providing Calvin with 3 meals a day?

So, we’re not going to talk about that chair….?

I had a cousin that was growing up while C&H was new. She shared polls like this with her dad (they were both fans) bringing good laughs to them both.Sadly she was killed in a car accident before she even turned 21 – hit a deer and went off a cliff – and he died of stroke a couple years later.

Ha, Calvin tricked him into showing that he cared.

What exactly are Dad’s polls? Is it something to do with his job?
