Aww he wasn’t going after Susie? Bummer!

LOL at Calvin’s grimace of sheer displeasure in the final panel.

And OMG- the infamous “Peeing Calvin” picture! You can see it right there! As Watterson himself proclaimed, “I sorely underestimated the popularity of Calvin urinating on the Ford logo”.

Calvin experiences another of life’s disappointments! Still, he made a smart decision!

I can almost see Susie walking by, grabbing that balloon, and launching it at Calvin!

THAT was the bust without the boom!

As Snoopy once lamented, “My life is full of unsuffered consequences”

In the end, his instigator is his pacifier.

Wise phylosyphy but we can give another interpretation : life is too short. So, do it Calvin!

Get Susie. Of course that never works, either.

Watterson deserves to be filthy rich.

Wise decision. Although it surprises me Hobbes doesn’t want to get soaked. Tigers love water.
