Nice family experience!

Holidays never seem to live up to the expectations

Mom is probably going to drive since Dad’s glasses were broken and he didn’t bring a spare…

I can’t remember who, but some comedian once observed that “love is what you feel for people until you figure out all the things you hate about them.”

Finally, the Experience packed up – and now has to be towed home… to the garage to gather dust.

Whatever you say, Calvin’s spoken language is always excellent.

How’s THAT for character, dad?!

“Now, now” is the opposite of “there, there.” Both used for calming people, but “now, now” is for anger, while “there, there” is for sorrow. “Hear, hear!” (pls note spelling) is for saying someone is right, listen to them! But nobody ever says “Then, then!”

Good vocabulary for a six year old!

Sounds like Calvin learned something valuable if no one else did!

Best family vacation I remember was the year I sat on the couch while they left. House to myself for the first time, and they couldn’t blame their bad time on me.

What a surprise, a lot better than last year’s.

Maybe Dad learned from this experience….next year, Disneyland.

The same thing happens when my family is crammed into a motel room with only one tv.

perhaps he can get moe to come along and abandon him

Next year just send the kid to summer school…….. For the whole summer!
