Some people can hardly believe things which are in an other way they are used to! They think others are silly or don’t tell the truth! They cannot imagine some have experiences they don’t!

That is why they are called parents! They NEVER see it your way.

His parents are wondering why snow goons would sleep at night. They are grew up with monsters that are active at night.

The expression on Dad’s face in panel 3 is that of a man who just realized the hideous snow-beasts his son insists on making now have a nice protective coat of ice that will keep them on his front yard through April.

You have no evidence , Calvin . Ask for a webcam .

Maybe Dad tried the same thing on his dad!

Skepticism abounds.

They see all too well.

There are many times I don’t see things the way my children do.

Something to ponder. Assuming this all takes place in one night, Calvin’s parents should have noticed that there was only ONE snow goon in the yard at the end of the day. In order for this to fit in the “rational” world, Cal would have had to get up, make several more snow goons and freeze them in the brief time between when they went to bed and Cal woke them up. Hmmmm

Parents! A possible apocalypse avoided, and no gratitude!

Dad’s expression is only topped by Calvin’s in the last panel, at least Hobbes looks sympathetic….

There’s no ‘quit’ in Calvin, no matter how wrong he is. That seems oddly familiar, somehow.

Again, Calvin’s parents are too cheap to get him professional help. Maybe they should just talk to him more.

There is none so blind as them who will not see.

It’s a good story, and the commitment he has to it is impressive. Still in dutch though. …sigh

They don’t see because they gave birth to a congenital liar. At this point it’s only hospitalization or politics for the future.

I wanted to see that “THOROUGH” talking to from the last episode

Calvin often sees things that no one else sees.

The day will come, Calvin, when you’ll have a child of your own, and you will no longer “see”. Fight against that time for as long as you can; without imagination life can sometimes be very lonely.

I hope one day Calvin’s parents actually see Calvin’s imagination literally come to life.

They did wanted Calvin to play outdoors more often.

To all you people that think Calvin is mentally insane and needs medication or a psych ward, I don’t think this comic strip is for you.

Calvin artificially created an “ice storm”. Freezing rain coats trees (and everything else). It looks pretty but the extra weight can break off branches and topple entire trees.

I had a friend who worked on a fishing boat in Alaska during the winter. His job was to use a hammer to break up ice that formed on the rigging from the sea spray freezing. If he didn’t, the ice buildup could capsize the boat.

I counted nine "see"s!

Just wait until they’re old and infirm, Calvin. Then, you’ll have your revenge.

So, Calvin now produces Zombie apocalypse movies.

I give them credit for actually giving the explanation a hearing.
