We have a cat like Hobbes. Her name is Misty. If I’m sitting, reading, in her favorite chair she will go cry at the window or do something else to get my attention and me out of the chair. Then she hops up into the chair and pretends to go to sleep. I haven’t the heart to push her out — I’ll go find another chair. Then she really does go to sleep.

I expected Calvin to get a Valentine from Susie—completely equipped with a spring-operated boxing glove!!

I hear tigers make pretty good pillows. Nothing like a purring lumbar support to make your cares and tensions float away while you’re watching Ozark.

It took about 10 years but my cat finally started sleeping on me

I’m kind of surprised Mom went along with that.

My cats would rather use my belly than the couch.

This reminds me so much of my late cat, who also liked his chairs pre-warmed. I remember even when I’d get up from the computer chair to get a snack or to use the bathroom, when I’d come back I’d find the cat already resting on the chair!
