Well—-she climbed up the ladder in CA on the arm of a married man, and then withdrew from the primaries before single vote was cast. She got the VP spot because of demographics, which is no different than Kennedy putting Johnson on the ticket because he needed the South, as did just about every other Presidential candidate. Right place-Right time; nothing more.
You know the nice thing about right place, right time? That when there is true equality, it can HAPPEN. When there is not, then the time is never “right” and neither is the “place.” At least, that’s what the people in power say when they close ranks to protect their own privileged status.
Intelligent enough to find her mark to get ahead. Married boyfriend Mayor got her 2 state board jobs in 94. Paid out 400k in 5 years. Now married to a rich white guy & apparently no one remembers the crap she gave Biden in the debates. She’ll roll over anyone that gets in her way.
