even though I have had two shots and it has been over two weeks, the mask is part of my attire. How am I supposed to know if the other person has had a second shot and when or if any. Besides there are other reasons for a mask – pollution, cold germ asthma, etc.
It occurred to me Wednesday, when hauling a load of old rotted pressure-treated deck boards to the dump, that I should be using the mask for that too; the “pressure treatment” includes processing with arsenic and other heavy metals (which is why I have to pay extra to get rid of it) (pre-2002).
My husband actually almost outdoes Cathy. When he goes out he carries a cross sling bag that is actually designed for army troops. The main body carries his laptop, but it has all sorts of attachable pouches that each hold different supplies: 1) Condiments such as salt/pepper, non-refrig salad dressing and Splenda sweetener; 2) Anti-bac jell, wipes, masks, tissues, etc. 3) A mini kit of things I tend to run out of such as my food supplements, packs of lime powder for my water, etc. 3) Power banks, cords, etc. for electronics 4)…….
I tell folks I swear we could survive the Zombie Apocalypse on what he carries around!
You know that Cathy always over does most everything that comes her way, and this is no exception. We know she has been vaccinated, so why all this over-the-top? Why get vaccinated at all if you don’t feel some sort of protection from it? In my opinion (yes, my opinion, so put the flame throwers away) this just makes many people more afraid.

I plan to continue to wear masks in crowded situations beyond covid…it’s been nice not having a cold (or sinus infection) for over a year now.
