Mr. Pinkley: The tax code listing the new tax laws passed by congress last summer is two volumes long and four inches thick. The binders containing tax regulations which attept to explain the tax laws in the four-inch-think volumes are nine inches thick. When you count the versions that were writted, printed, passed around and rejected before arriving at one document the entire government could agree on, you can feel a new sense of pride in where your hard-earned tax dollars are going... photocopy expense. Cathy: I'm going to be sick. Woman: Not in here, please. Spot removal is no longer deductible.
