Mr. Pinkley: I've called this emergency session to address the two words that are striking fear in the hearts of all businessmen...spring fashion. Last year, rumpled cargo pants and flip-flops redefined men as hip, with-it players in a young, dot-com-driven world...but now the dot-coms are all belly-up. Do our "casual Tuesday" outfits still make us look cool and rich? ...or do we look like broke Nasdaq victims who can't afford a suit? Are men supposed to wear suits again? How can we? The suit was declared the symbol of the aging, out-of-it corporate has-been! Suits screem "geezer"! Khakis scream "loser"! Sportcoats scream "positionless wimp"!! It's all wrong!! Men have mothing to wear! Charlene: Do we weep with empathy or cheer "Hah Hah!"? Cathy: Always too many choices in fashion.
