“The working vacation is a lost dream”? Silly me; I always thought that the whole point of a vacation was not to have ANYTHING to do with one’s job at all for a few days!

I am new. Hello. At least they get a vacation. I work only part-time and because of age may have to go to a temp agency. I can’t have a vacation. Have a great weekend

Thanks. My husband retired last year on leap day. And this year the company started major lay offs. Me I am a long way from retireing but would love a vacation electronics free. Sorry about bad spelling bi-ficals.

ejcapulet-he’s got to be. no woman in their right mind would put up with that. of course, if he had a woman with him….the electronics would probably be on the back burner! (we hope)

I’m surprised he didn’t already have a home Wi-Fi - just hard to believe he’s waited that long, unless he’s never at home. My hubby would much rather do on his vacation what this guy is planning, compared to doing the “honey-do’s” that I’d prefer he work on.
