I want OUR family recipes! Mom: The "Barefoot Contessa's" in our home four times a day, seven days a week! She's practically family! Cathy: I WANT A REAL FAMILY! REAL FAMILY RECIPES FROM OUR OWN BELOVED REAL FAMILY! Mom: ...Oh, look. "Cake Boss" is on. Cathy: Close enough!

Uhhh, maybe she thinks about the 18 years or so that her spinless husband free-loaded off of his parents. When my ex in-laws had financial troubles I did everything I could to help them. It’s called family values. Not the kind that political parties try to hijack, just what goes on in real-world, concerned people-ville.
