Meanwhile, over at Mother Goose and Grimm, they are still talking about Cathy this week:

I have to admit. I don’t get it… Anyone feel free to jump in and explain the punchline?
BTW, the link might have gotten messed up. I don’t think you can link using the date query for the current date, so here is the regular daily link to Grimm.

I thought there was no right to privacy when using company internet on a company computer. I think you waive your privacy interest when you use stuff that doesn’t really belong to you. Does Irving work with Cathy though? Cause the company still has a privacy interest. This whole arc is kind of creepy.
I seem to recall that Irving worked for Cathy’s company for a while during a period when they were broken up. (Awkward!) So he does in fact have the right to monitor her Internet usage.
If Irving works for the same company Cathy works for (boy, that would be awkward, wouldn’t it?!?) and it’s his job to monitor employee internet/e-mail usage to make sure they’re all actually working on company time (which we know they aren’t!), then that’s fine … just so long as he’s watching everybody and not just his ex-girlfriend. Otherwise, he’d definitely be considered a stalker!

Can’t fight that logic… They are BOTH guilty.

True, Cathy… if you don’t want people to know what you’re doing, then don’t do it at work. They have every right to monitor you.
