I think that women in general can be bamboozled into thinking there really IS a size 0. Zero is nothing, therefore you cannot wear nothing. Well, you can, but you’d get arrested.
I have found that if I consider myself to be a size 10, then clothes bought in the US that fit me will be labelled “size 8”, and clothes bought in England that fit me will be labelled “size 12”. It seems that Americans can’t bear to admit their size, but the English don’t seem to care so much.
I had to actually go look at my bathing suits to see if this ridiculous-sounding statement was true and discovered it must be because I wear a size 6 in almost everything I own . . . except my bathing suits, which are labeled size 8!
Size is impossible. I once went to a store, tried on 2 pairs of pants that were supposed to be the same size. One was too big, the other was too small. Not a little big or small, but a lot.

This one is true. The least they could do is try and make us feel better by making the size realistic. It’s an insult to go up a size.

I didn’t find real sizes on swimsuits, they’re just S, M, or L.. I just bought a new one today.
