Cathy: What a workout! I'm exhausted! Completely spent! I'm.... 6 1/2 minutes?? I only ran for 6 1/2 minutes?? I still have 23 1/2 minutes to go?? I can't stand it!! My legs are screaming! My lungs are bursting! I can't swallow! Hang on!...Hang on!...Keep going! Keep going! Keep going! ...I did it! Finished!! Got my second wind!! Rallied and pushed past exhaustion!! I ran for a full... 2 1/2 minutes?? Proof that exercise prolongs life: The last 9 minutes just lasted an hour.

What is the dog doing—showing us a kind of crutch with greenery growing on top?

I think it depends on what sort of exercise you’re doing. I’m not much of a runner or a swimmer, so time seems to stand still when I do those activities. But I could hike or bike or play volleyball all day.
@ladyfingers: I agree with monty. It’s hard to tell what this one is doing, so I like your previous one unless it clears up and we can tell what this one is doing. Fun!

Cathy had better watch out. Going (or at least attempting to go) full-throttle like this when you’re over-weight, out-of-shape and not used to it will give you a heart attack!

Benn there, done that and will probably do it again with the same results.

I have heard that unless you can carry on a conversation while running, you’re overdoing it.
