You know, Cathy, at some point in your life, you’ve got to stop talking to that inner voice and just do what you think is right. Once you’re out of the house, you can make your own decisions.Good morning, Susan! Saturday is the only day that I “sleep in” until 8. So by the time I feed the rascals, it ends up being later than usual. Hope you have a great day!Good morning, KFG! I responded to your notes yesterday… Rah, rah, sis, boom bah! ;-)Good morning, JanuAaronry and Billy! I hope you had a nice time last night… what did you end up doing?Hello to GsMom, gmforde, tegm, rgcviper, lindz.coop (Mai Tai are you out there?) and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!!
High tech or not, it’s still nagging. Too bad the weird daughter didn’t fall far enough from the weird mother tree. I wonder how many generations this goes back.
Billy and I lucked out and got two tickets at the last moment (of the last 5 from what we saw on the website—show ending Sunday) for Billy Elliot The Musical at the Kennedy Center. Just under 3 hours and FANTASTIC! We often go there on Friday’s because they have free concerts at the Millennium Stage. We haven’t been to a paid concert or show in ages. Billy’s folks always plan ahead and get tickets for our birthdays (mine in March, Billy’s in July) followed by dinner. When I lived in CT (pre-Billy), I worked in Manhattan. I loved going out with friends to shows. I’ve seen all the great ones, especially Andrew Lloyd Webber.
We don’t go out ‘dressy’ often at all. It’s nice for a change. As you can tell from his avatar, Billy is easy on the eyes. He’s used to being asked if he’s a model of some sort. Shocks people when he tells them he’s an MD in oncology research. Yes, you can have looks and brains too. Me, I’m more comfortable in my ‘farmer’ look. Pure hick in the middle of DC, NH accent and all. I can look good. And I can be smart. But not together. However I can walk and chew gum at the same time. And, not to brag, I can pat my head and rub my tummy at the same time. I know, huh? Who woulda known?
I’m sooooo glad I have a normal loving 20th Century mom. I might have rolled my eyes at her once in my life.
Hello family of Cathyites. I think we’ve been missing gmforde for a few days. KFG still cracking me up overnight. Susan was right about me sleeping in (but not Aaron). I love a Saturday sleep-in until Aaron sends LMB to get me up. Hi GsMom. I’m not as pithy as Aaron is, but the potential is there. :-D
I love my mother but I’m extremely glad her “global wireless access” doesn’t quite reach my house from hers! There’s just no telling what kind of trouble I could get into otherwise!
;-)
Good evening, Aaron, Dr. Billy, lightenup, K.F.G., Susan, rgcviper and all the rest of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here tonight. As always, good to “see” you all! I’ll be at my mother’s house tomorrow (as usual) but I’m hoping to be back with all my new “friends” again on Monday.
Omg….Cathy NEEDS help, she’s talking to herself…..maybe she needs to check into a loonie bin…j/k…if she did that then she wouldn’t be here to amuse us…right??….@Billy as for rolling my eyes at my mom, I think I did it every so often, but then again i got it from her…seriously….lol, Sounds like you and Aaron had a great time last night :)…evening to all ye Cathy nuts reading my post :)
