What a book of knowledge lies on the grass and under the trees. Oh! If only we humans could read it what secrets might we learn.

Dogs communicate partly by smell. Electra is reading a discussion group Web site.

I musta stepped into my alternate reality. Cathy is making 100% sense. Electra too. whimperrr Help me

Little Muttley Beagle shows an amazing indifference to other doggie scents. He has his favorite streets to walk on and he loves sitting down and watching the Potomac flowing by. For a one year old pup, he’s just wonderful.

Good morning lightenup after church. Hi Susan when you arrive. Hi Mom! when you read this tomorrow—so you knew I am thinking about you too. KFG I think free shipping is in order for the weekend orders, just to encourage more buying. Or 10% off for us frequent visitors to Cathy’s BizarroWorld. Good morning / afternoon / evening fellow Cathyites. Thinking about you today as well. :-D

This is one of my favorite strips. If only humans could think a little like dogs.

I usually think Electra is one of the sane ones, but not today. 21st century humans know all sorts of things that we don’t really need to know. We probably have the most amount of information available to us in history. Sometimes it’s just too much for me and I tune it all out…Hello KFG (I answered you 2 days ago :-)), JanuAaronry, Susan, GsMom (well, tomorrow), Billy, gmforde, lindz.coope, rgcviper and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today! It’s pretty chilly here too (at least for Atlanta), so I’ll need some motivation to get out later to sell Girl Scout cookies… groan…

Girl Scout cookies!! Yaaayy!! Where can I sign up for them?? But if you’re in Atlanta, that’s several hundred miles too far for me. Got any volunteers to bring them to me up here in Canada (Montreal)?

Incidentally, as to cold weather here, I was told that the temperature would be hovering around minus 30 degrees (that;s 30 below zero in Fahrenheit terms), for yesterday & today. And then it’s supposed to rain……(sigh)……In general, the weather forecasts are pretty accurate as to what will be happening, just don’t always know when.

So I’m not impressed by cold weather that’s in the Fahrenheit teens. Get yourself a nice warm coat (hoodies are in just now, which is good, because a hood really can make a difference), nice warm boots, scarf, hat, gloves &/or mittens. If you can get a coat with a removable lining, that’s a bonus. You can wear it just before winter and just after winter, as well.

I’m all for knowledge for knowledge sake. But Aaron finally broke me of my scents tracking when he takes me for a walk.

A balmy 30F here at the moment, real feel of 23. My home town in NH is 0 and Aaron’s is 18 below (at the Canadian border). I’m wearing my hoodie on top of two other layers. Our furnace is on the blink and won’t be fixed until tomorrow a.m. The house is currently ranging from 62 in the basement to 68 on the 3rd floor where I am. Little Muttley Beagle is in my lap. Life is good. :-)

LOL at Aaron’s new avatar. He musta known we’d be talking about weather tonight.

Chilly here too (@20 F), but not too cold to go for a long walk — besides, the sun was out and the ducks were waiting!! Hi all Cathyites!! Stay warm!!
