The unmatching all-terrain running pants was the giveaway for me. Sales Lady gave me whiplash though. Ouch.

Yawn. Morning Susan when you arrive. Hullo lightenup I bet you’re not 5 minutes behind me this morning. I think I forgot how to sleep. Sigh. Morning fellow Cathyites

LOL!!!!! She totally had me until the end. The unmatching running pants is totally accurate. That would be considered part of fashion these days. The only inaccurate part is that Cathy is wearing running pants. She would never run, unless it’s after Irving or away from work.Good morning, Aaron! I hope it goes well (I organized it because no one else wanted to do it… ugh). We’re even taking credit cards!p.s. If jgmoore1701 is going to do his “Ha! _____much?” on every comic this morning, as he’s done before, I’m going to lose my mind.

I’m convinced that Cathy is a nut job because everyone around Cathy is a nut job. She can’t escape it. I’m learning to be more forgiving of her.

lightenup it took 2 1/2 hours of one-on-one basketball to get friend Aaron settled down enough that he went back to sleep. He got up before 4:00 a.m. When I got up at 7:30 I found him on the sofa with LMB sleeping soundly on his chest, but Aaron wide awake. I’ve never seen anyone sleep less than he does. :-( Well, at least he’s napping now. Chances are good I’ll be waking him up instead of him waking on his own.

kittycatpawsare thanks for the nice comment last night. We do rock, don’t we. (And more than just Aaron and me, though we can hold up our end pretty well.) Aaron’s vision has become and on-again off-again thing. He was complaining about blurry vision in his left eye (the not-so-good one) this morning. Might just be one of his neurology meds messing with his nerves. We’ll keep it under watch.

Why was her entire ensemble an “excellent look” — “the picture of empowered nonchalance” as the saleslady put it . . . until it was discovered that those were the clothes Cathy walked into the store wearing (with the exception of the coat). . . then all of a sudden the whole look became “all wrong”?!? As much time as Cathy spends there, her top, pants, purse (and maybe even her underwear! Oops! Sorry, Aaron!!!!!) were probably all bought in that store at one point or another so the saleslady better watch out criticizing them! Management might not like that if they found out!!!

But I have to admit, Cathy’s rocking that trench coat though! I actually like it in gray and wouldn’t mind having one of those myself . . . but I wouldn’t buy it where Cathy shops. Things are just too darn expensive there!!!!!

I remember this look. This was about the only time fashion was ever “real”, even though it was “retro real.” Oh well. The saleslady is even nuttier than Cathy is! lol

Hi Cathyites!! I’m with you GretchensMom — I like the trenchcoat and the outfit sure is a far sight better than anything she has tried on in the store all week!! Stick with what you have Cathy.

Billy — I hope Aaron’s eye issue is just because he hasn’t had enough sleep, and his sight is better tomorrow.
