I like the man suit on her. Add a few accessories, then take the hairstyle in the last panel, and she has a great look for the office. I guess she found her limit of style. lol.

Wow, Sales Lady sure is manic. Can’t say I don’t like the hair though, as far as women’s hair styles go with me. (By the way, my avatar was during my shaggy period early in 2010).

 

Morning all. Susan that makes twice with the water. I’d feel totally gross unless I could shower. My record is 4 times in one day and still not getting the smoke smell gone. Hiya lightenup safe trip. Our scene today is a train wreck with a surprise during the rescue. (No idea . . . it’s a surprise).

Hmmm, I agree with you guys about the hair. But then, as Aaron says, Sales Lady is playing dress up doll. Maybe she never had a Barbie doll when she was a kid. She’s right, it’s a myster — as to why anyone would wear that!

 

Hello fellow Cathyites I worked all day today instead of coming home at noon. I work a half day on Friday only when Aaron is home. LMB isn’t missing Aaron much apparently. He stays with a couple of Georgetown U students, who wind him up all day. Oh boy. I then get a bomb back in return. :-D

 

Off to play soccer for a while.

The suit isn’t bad, if conservative, although the Camo clothes are … um … interesting. Cathy’s hair in the last two panels is distinct, though.

Hello, everyone … and Happy Friday!

Hi, Aaron!!!!! Hope your training is going well!!!!! Sorry my communication has been so sporadic the last few days. We’ve been doing a fairly massive amount of landscaping in our yard this week while it’s been so pretty outside and I haven’t always felt like doing anything more afterwards than eating dinner and then collapsing on the couch to watch t.v. for a while . . . before collapsing in bed for the night, completely tired and worn out — only to get up the next day and do it all over again. I wish I could say we got done but, unfortunately, I can’t. Maybe next week!

Sorry. I had trouble figuring out how to make the text in my previous message work correctly but after several attempts, I finally just gave up and that is what I wound up with.

lightenup: I left a belated happy birthday message for lightenup jr. on Wednesday. Did you both see it?

I’d rather people thought I was trying too hard while wearing proper business attire instead of that camouflage monstrosity the saleslady is trying so desperately to sell Cathy. Thank goodness she apparently recognizes the fact that something is definitely wrong with this picture . . . and the clothes . . . and the saleslady . . . and is wanting to know where the exit is. I just hope she manages to safely escape in the clothes she arrived in rather than being talked into buying this freak-show outfit!!!!!

 

Meanwhile, Cathy’s hairstyle in panel 4 reminds me a lot of Lucille Ball’s in the old “I Love Lucy” show — so I think that’s pretty cool though!

Hi Cathyites!! I too like the hair — the clothes are a disaster! Go find the little heart sweatshirt and have somebody tie up that saleslady until you can safely get OUT of that store!!

Know what you’re going thru Susan — we lose power on a sunny day in July and when we lose power — no water. It’s really a pain.
