The ultimate question dodge. He never did answer it. I commend her for her bravery under fire. :-)

What a spin! It’s amazing how he’s trying to make being laid off sound like he’s doing them a favor. Good morning, legaleagle, Susan and possibly Aaron making a quick “type-by” this morning!Hello to GsMom, Billy, KFG, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, gmforde, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, soonergal, lippyfish and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!!Thank you, hendelca and lindz.coop for your comments yesterday! It feels nice to have a group of friends who care about me, and I really appreciate your advice and concern. :-)I try to come to the comics to get away from it all and not to relive the crap I deal with, but every once in a while, I appreciate the chance to talk about it. A sincere thank you!(@ GretchensMom and Billy – I replied to yours yesterday… :-))

I would think that the only safe one would be the secretary.

I don’t think any of them are as high as Mr P. He oughta stay off that stuff.

Yawn. About 5 hours of sleep and I’m still dopey. Spring in DC is the pits for allergies. LMB is sitting close. Dogs know when their best buds are sick or suffering. Leaving for work early so I can get my next allergy shot.

    Hi Mom!

If I were Cathy, I’d go home, put on my “strappy stiletto sandals” and give Mr. Pinkley a good swift kick in the rear end and tell him not to be mad . . . it’s all just a part of my “redirection, reinvention, reincarnation chance to try on a daring, dazzling new life to see how high I can go!!” If I’m one of the “lucky” ones about to lose my job, might as well do the one thing I’ve always wanted to do (but never could) as I’m on my way out the door! ;-)

    HI, AARON!

Hope your allergy shots have kicked in and you’re feeling better now! ;-)

lightenup: Hope you’re feeling better today too now that you’ve had a couple of days to decompress away from all that nonsense you had to go through on Sunday!!!!!

Good afternoon to the both of you, Dr. Billy, K.F.G., Susan, rgcviper, summerdog, gmforde, hendelca, lindz.coop, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, Gator007, legaleagle48 and all the REST of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here today. I managed to get the rest of my yard work done today before it rained. Yay! I really, really hate doing yard work but it just makes the outside of our house look soooooo nice when it’s done so I guess that makes such a dreaded, laborious job worth it in the end. Aaaahhhhh . . . the joys of home ownership!!!!!

Nut job. Looks like Cathy is a little more innocent than I keep thinking. She probably absorbs it through her skin. Sad.

Hi Mom LMB and I are going out to play soccer. Home before dark, I promise. :-)

Hi gang! Just a quick check-in before I start the nightly ritual of emails, making lunches and cleaning up…Hi GretchensMom! You’re sweet to think of me. :-) Unfortunately things are still weighing on my mind because emails are flying around wildly about all the issues. Including my crazy neighbor John calling for a board meeting on my one free night next week with an agenda that takes up most of a page. Obviously he wants to be the new president… have at it, I say, although I"m rolling my eyes at his agenda and he is a terrible leader and suffering from mild dementia. Fortunately he’s not my boss, so I’m about to send an email telling him to make it a quick meeting. The good news is that I will move from being secretary to another less-demanding job, so just one more week!

Hang on lightenup!!!!!Hi Cathyites!! I would put on an old pair of pointe shoes to give Mr. P a good kick where it counts. (Actually did go back to ballet today after a 3 week hiatus for the surgery I had). Boy it was good to be back:)
