Nuttier and nuttier every day. The going on vacation list would span about 17 daily strips. The only thing I have to remember about going to work is not to go nekkid.

Late afternoon hi Susan when you re-arrive. :-D Awww geez lightenup I’m gonna miss you big time. Of course now that your head exploded you can’t read this so . . . sigh.

LMB, Dad, and I are gonna go swimming for my off-PT day. Mom is has gone out to the Farmer’s Market for fresh berries and stuff. I’ll post dessert later.

I can relate a little. I bring food, drinks, hair care, skin care, & dental care products, electronics, and things to read to work. No need for a change of clothes, although most women bring sweaters because our AC is very… effective.

I don’t think I’d have the energy to go on holiday. I’m certain I haven’t got enough luggage.

Tonight’s dessert, though Mom didn’t go nuts slicing the strawberries so thinly and arranging them like that. She’s got, you know, a life. Recipe here: http://www.kraftrecipes.com/recipes/triple-berry-cheesecake-tart-92066.aspx

Awwww Willi Nilli, don’t worry about what you shared. Human nature says that people with the same experiences will share so you know you’re not alone. I doubt you offended or upset anyone. I still do feel that wonderful hand on my shoulder and now it’s time you felt ours collectively. We are family after all. :-)

The thing I can really relate to is the hot and cold clothing items. While it’s 105 degrees outside, it’s about 66 degrees in our office! Drives me nuts! So, as it turns out, summer is the biggest “layering” season around here.

The sweater I can see because I always did that too. No matter where I worked or what the temperature was outside, it was almost always cold inside. Others I can see, too, like her phone, laptop, umbrella, and her lunch (along with a book, notepaper, c.d. player, music and newspaper for down time during lunch to get a few things done while not doing job-related work). The snacks she really needs to stay away from because they’re probably potato chips rather than carrot sticks. But sunglasses and sunscreen? Is she going to work . . . or the beach?!? And when was the last time Cathy went to the gym — or did any other kind of exercise, for that matter — during lunch or after work that would require running shoes, work-out clothes, hair dryer, make-up, etc. for when she was done?!? And even if she DID exercise at lunch or after work, why bring those items into the office with her instead of leaving them out in the car for later? Why weigh yourself down even more with things you don’t positively need during your time IN the office??? And then there’s a few things she’s got that are absolute head-scratchers for me — like the dental system, contact system, skin care system and vitamins. Why would she need any of those things at work? I’m afraid I’m just not understanding that part at all! Oh, well. There are many, many reasons why Cathy is my favorite little nut job . . . and today is just one of those reasons!!!!!

    ;-)

    HI, AARON & DR. BILLY!!!!!

Aaron: Looks like Billy’s mom is making yet ANOTHER winner tonight! I have GOT to buy me a tart pan . . . and soon!!!!! B/t/w, how do you all not weigh 500 lbs. apiece from all these delicious desserts the 3 of you like to make?!?!? Thank goodness “virtual desserts” cause no weight gain; otherwise, I’d really be in trouble!!! Keep posting them, though, because each and every one absolutely makes my day — especially when you provide the website’s recipe to go along with the fabulous-looking dessert!

lightenup: I’ll miss you . . . you know, what with your head being gone due to the explosion and all! R.I.P., dear friend!!!!! ;-)

Willi Nilli: I just now left a message for you on yesterday’s board. Don’t worry about a thing! As Aaron said, it always helps to know you’re not alone when things happen to you — good OR bad — so share whatever you want, whenever you want . . . because we’re all “family” here!!!!!

Good afternoon, lightenupjr. (when are you going to post with us again? We miss you!), K.F.G., Susan, lindz.coop, rgcviper, gmforde, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, hendelca, Gator007, legaleagle48, mollie05, AnonaMona, soonergal, Sauccy1121, Wolf Emperor, Hobbes (if you should happen to drop by) and all the REST of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here today. As always, great to “see” you all!

Mom! re: your question on how we don’t all weigh 500 lbs. apiece. Healthy eating every day, Mom and Dad walk, plus Dad is into basketball. You already know Billy and I play basketball, soccer, hockey, and street hockey. We all swim. We’re all skiers too, and Billy and I snowboard.

Desserts are taken in reasonable slices, but no deprivation because that leads to cravings. Mom also makes enough dessert to share with a couple neighbors who are too busy to bake. For me, a dessert says “All done for the day” to my tummy tum tum. I’ve always been kinda skinny. It got worse (like 87 lbs as my low) when I was fighting tumors on my spine. I’m about 135 now — Billy about 150.

Hello fellow Cathy nuts, the sun is back out for now but another storm is approaching. I think Cathy, like myself overpacks for everything…just in case you know!! @*WilliNilli* don’t worry about bad memories for us as we have moved on and have learned how not to have those things hopefully never happen again. Sharing our stories and common lives in Cathy’s corner can be a big stress reliever. I’m watching for the bad weather approaching again and hope to not lose power.

Uh, I guess “dental system” is toothbrush, toothpaste, and probably floss. “Contact system”? Lens holders, saline solution, eye drops. As ususal, over-complicated.

Mom! to add to what Aaron said, based on a prior response from you Ms. Smart Gal — no muffintop when I put on my Speedos. Mostly I wear board shorts when in the water.

Yeah—our comic Cathy is a nut job, all right. This one had me scratching my head a good bit … and, of course, rolling my eyes.

Sheesh, lightenup—that head explosion sounds pretty painful. Although I must admit … I wasn’t far behind you.

    It’s almost Friday, all!

Hi other Cathyites!! I confess, much like Cathy, I tend to overpack “just in case.” I’m doing much better with it tho and just in time — cause we can’t take all that junk on the plane to Norway.
