Unfortunately, my desk looks like Cathy’s at the moment! Oh well, at least mine are fun project.

I really sympathize with Cathy today. When I worked outside my home, my desk used to look pretty much like this on a daily basis, too. Oh, how I hated it!!! You’d no sooner get a spot cleaned off when someone [just like this guy] would bring twice as much paperwork as you had before to fill it right back up again. It’s like no one was happy or could stand it if one of their co-worker’s appeared to be catching up on their work while they themselves were still so far behind on theirs. I’m just so glad that I don’t have to deal with that kind of nonsense anymore!!!!!

lindz.coop: I tried Internet Explorer earlier to see what would happen. Still no comments section on either seattlepi.com or oregonlive.com [which I’m now learning to live without!] but when it comes to G.C., I can enlarge the comics again and the 3 buttons below them now work [although the calendar feature still doesn’t]. Unfortunately, I don’t like I.E. [and never have] so I’m not going to use it — not even to get the Go Comics pages to [mostly] work again. I’m just stumped. It would be different if things didn’t work for me from the get-go, either with a new computer or with a new browser [I was using Firefox with my old laptop then changed over to Google Chrome when I got my new one about 4 months ago] but things were working just fine on BOTH of them up until a week ago so it’s all a mystery to me as to why it suddenly stopped. I e-mailed G.C. yesterday for help and while I got an initial response letting me know they received it, I’m still waiting to hear from them regarding specifics so hopefully I’ll know something soon and then this whole mess can be fixed, forgotten about and I can move on again.
