Cathy: I've lost weight so this suit might be too big. Saleswoman: Try it on. Cathy: I've lost the weight but the weight hasn't left my body yet. Saleswoman: It hasn't left yet? Cathy: It's hanging on, hoping I'll break down and start eating again so it can stay...but I won't so it can't! I need a suit for when the lost weight gives up and leaves! Saleswoman: With each triumph, the hard-to-fit become the harder to fit...

Cathy, you are absolutely Not making sense! But, then, you Are a little zany…but, please, don’t make the mistake of buying a smaller bathing suit that “looks” like it will fit because you are going to be bummed out Big Time if it doesn’t! Wishing everyone a good Friday…yay! the last day of the work week! ;)

I used food for comfort. I would have three plates at a Chinese buffet. I would not even taste the last two, I would would still wolf it down. Luz would get so mad because I speed eat. I weighed so much I became crippled on my right hip. I lost 30 pounds and swim to regain my walk. Do you still have same fear of failure like we both had in high school. That is why you chew your nails until bleed. You don’t need to. The only person you need to make happy is yourself. For 40 years, I forgot you. Sorry

Then maybe it was water weight, Cathy. Or then again maybe it’s just your crazy logic… eyerollGood morning, Cathy clan! We went away for Memorial Day (it was mostly relaxing, but I was nervous about all the stuff I have to do here), and now I’m back to clearing the house full-time. Ugh, so much to do!!

No, Cathy’s absolutely right here! I too have lost all of my excess weight…it just hasn’t left yet, I swear!

Cathy should be dressing for the body she has now . . . NOT the body she plans on having at some point in the future. Therefore, she should put off swimsuit [and any other kind of clothes] shopping until she finally has the body she wants because what if her diet fails yet again? Then she’s out the money she spent on clothes that don’t fit because they’re too small and tight . . . causing her to be depressed times 3!
Hi, rgcviper!
lightenup: Glad to hear you were able to get away for a few days. It’s just a shame that anxiety over everything you still have to do wouldn’t let you enjoy it!!!!! :-(
Hello and Happy Friday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today!

Remember how miserable we were at Midland High School. We couldn’t wait to leave. I still remember that letter from you about some boy you were dating that had a girl friend back home. Every freshman boy has a girlfriend back home. You join the Tri-Delt and I think you grew a lot about who you were. I still remember the draft lottery and I drew 26. My friends thought I was nuts when I said I was glad. But it broke the bond between my father and me. I was scared about Vietnam. But I live through it and I found my true love. None of my friends have such a loving and wonderful wife. The book is almost done, Cathy. I hope you are OK. I miss talking to such an intelligent girl.
